To field, you use the control stick to run after a ball and push a button to throw it. You can also hold a direction on the control pad to try and pull or go the other way. To hit, you use the control stick to line up where you want your bat to go through the strike zone and press a button to swing. To pitch, you hold one direction on the control pad that corresponds to the pitch you’d like to throw, use the control stick to set the location, and press/hold a button to deliver the pitch (the longer you hold it, the harder you throw it).
